A couple of years ago, Ronny started life as a mascot, a muscular, sunglasses-wearing rhino created for BoxStreetLondon. He was meant to live on merchandise and disappear into the background of everyday branding. He had other plans. What you're looking at now is what happens when a mascot refuses to stay still. Over the past months, I've taught myself how to bring Ronny to life learning animation pipelines, character design tools, and AI video generation from scratch, one frustrating error message and one small breakthrough at a time. No animation studio. No team. Just a genuine curiosity about what's possible when you combine a good character with the right tools and enough stubbornness to figure it out.
Ronny the Rhino is the result!
An original animated boxing comedy series where Ronny, ego the size of a truck, self-awareness of a gnat faces a different opponent with a genuine animal superpower every episode. He should lose. He never understands why he doesn't.
Every character, every joke, every fight choreography detail has been built from the ground up, designed in AI character tools, animated frame by frame through AI video generation, scripted and re-scripted until the timing actually lands. It's equal parts creative writing, trial and error, and a slowly-growing understanding of what these tools can (and very much cannot yet) do.
This site is where that journey lives, the episodes, the characters, and the ongoing experiment of building an animated series entirely from scratch with tools that didn't exist a few years ago.
Welcome to the boxing ring. Ronny's already convinced he's won.
